Did we just become friends?

I started my photography business, formerly NSP Studio in 2007, while the ink on my diploma from RIT’s Imaging & Photographic Technology program was still drying. I quickly realized the power a photographic experience can have on how a woman feels about herself, and NSP’s mission became apparent… to create a safe space for women to feel seen and heard, where we could create confidence inspiring images that changed how women see themselves, and how they are seen by the world.

Fast forward to 2019, upon becoming pregnant with my son, I realized that inspiring confidence in women was no longer enough for me- I wanted to help women achieve agency and financial independence in business. In short - the wage gap makes me really [expletive] angry, and being on the precipice of having a tiny human to care for, I experienced a fear that I know MANY women have experienced in some form or another. Will my ability to create an income be threatened? I felt fire in my belly to support women in their pursuits to make money, and while I did this at Embolden for it’s first two years through business coaching, over time and through a pandemic it became apparent to me that we were always supposed to be a brand agency. In my years at NSP I have helped thousands of women curate their visual brand stories, and we are beyond excited to expand our offerings to support this outcome.

Our mission is to arm women with the branding tools they need to step into their power and take what is theirs.
