Our custom tailored brand photography experience will help tell your story and provide a depth of context to your audience. It’s easier for your audience to CONNECT and feel like they know you once they’ve seen different sides of your personality and service lines. You’ll have the opportunity to incorporate different looks, locations, and props - crafting a multi-dimensional experience for your audience.
These sessions are perfect for someone creating content for social media outlets, podcasters, influencers, makers, public figures and service providers.
Brand shoots consist of “lifestyle” poses rather than constructed formal portraits, frequently interacting with products, “clients”, or their environment in some way. We will help you choose different outfits and locations in order to fully convey your brand.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The biggest difference between brand sessions and our headshot packages, is that brand sessions tell more of a story and provide a depth of context to your audience. It’s easier for your audience to CONNECT and feel like they know you when they’ve seen many different sides of your personality as well as more “real life” scenarios (or at least those that appear to be!). Since brand sessions allow you to incorporate different looks, locations, and props, you’ll be able to express the bigger picture around the products you sell or the services you offer. Our brand sessions deliver 40+ images, depending on your shoot, while individual headshot session will only deliver a few.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION
How to prep for your session before you get in front of the camera.
Brand photoshoots allow you to really express who you are and what you do through the clever use of wardrobe, location, and props! It’s important to choose clothing and accessories that you feel your best in and really reflects your brand vibe. When considering props, using items that you use everyday in your business is a great place to start but also bringing in items that add pops of color, texture, or intrigue are also a great way to tell your story.

PHOTO DELIVERY
What to expect after your session:
Your gallery will be ready 1-2 weeks after your session with lightly polished photos. You will receive all the photos from your shoot plus a selection of retouched images which we will help guide you through.

Fill out the Branding contact form below, and you'll be contacted by our team ASAP! You'll be able to schedule your discovery call online, so we can talk about your mission and goals, and understand the full scope of how we can be of value to you. We will then put together a custom proposal of services from which you can choose - and we'll start our partnership from there! If this sounds more involved than you had in mind, no problem. Yes, through our strategic partners we are able to offer website and design services under one roof :)

We will work with you to craft a custom session including researching and reserving any necessary locations for your shoot (rental fees may occur). You can check out examples of all of our favorite locations (including our studio) here!

We have a dedicated styling station in our space for Special Occasion Hair & Makeup. These services can be booked directly through our studio manager, and are included in most of our brand photography sessions!

Usually, yes! We find most of clients are busy professionals (many of whom would rather visit the dentist for a root canal before stepping in front of a camera!), and this usually results in some last minute scheduling. We are always happy to accommodate deadlines whenever we are able - reach out to our studio manager if you do not see any shoot availability that meets your needs.

We are nestled in the historic East Ave district, on Prince Street between East and University Avenues. We're half a block from the Memorial Art Gallery, and the Strathallan Hotel. We have a full parking lot - no need to parallel park (thank goodness).

If you'd like to - absolutely. Hands frequently do appear in our photos, so if you are inclined to, then yes! Neutral or natural colors always photograph well - bold colors require a little more coordination with your outfits in advance, but certainly “pop” in photos!

Yes. Any delivered image will be fully polished for you - including skin smoothing, stray hair removal, softening of facial lines, whitening of teeth and background distraction removal as needed. We will perfect your images, without overly editing your unique traits that make you a human :)

Additional images can be purchased directly though your proofing gallery for $50 per image.

Unfortunately, we do not have weekend availability for our portrait sessions.

We usually book 2-6 weeks in advance, depending on the complexity and scope of your session. Always feel free to reach out if our online availability does not work for you - sometimes we're able to squeeze you in!

We will have you in (virtually or in-person) for a 1:1 guided Ordering Session to help you choose which images are your favorites. You may add any additional images to your package at this point. We will then carefully perfect these images for you to use on your website, in print materials, or however you'd like!

You will receive a link to a gallery from which you can download your final images approximately 5 days after you've placed your order. Occasionally these emails go to spam, so please check there if you have not received them within the 5 day timeframe!

Yes! We offer video trailers that give an overview of your business (perfect for your website's home page), testimonial videos that feature your clients, and b-roll of our photo/video shoots shot vertically, perfect for social media use. Video is becoming increasingly relevant in our digital world, and is a very useful additional service to our photography packages.

This is our most asked question! So frequent in fact, that we created an entire guide to help answer it. The short answer is - wear clothing you feel good in, that is fairly form fitting, and achieves the "look" you are going for (ex. professional, casual, stylish, etc.). Yes to wearing color! If you still have questions after reading through our style guide - feel free to reach out to our studio! We're happy to help. We also offer virtual or in-person closet visits to help you decide which items to bring, and which items may need to go shopping for.

Our studio is designed with you in mind. We have many beautiful chairs and couches, a podcast mic, podium and whiteboard, desk with large Mac computer, a Mac laptop, iPad, cute notepads and pens, a table for "team meeting" shots, solid colored backdrops, and lots of green plants! In addition to our shooting sets, we also have a hair and makeup area where our stylist works (included in most sessions), your own private dressing room with supplies for last minute touch ups, bathroom, refreshments, and our spacious natural light studio shooting space.

Absolutely. We can incorporate individual and group shots of your team into your branding photography session, or do it on a different day if you prefer.
